Success will require a bolder approach to financing and partnerships. Nothing will be achieved without engaging all actors...We must innovate and revamp our approach to partnership and financing, with a focus on the long haul. We must empower youth to participate in and shape the political and economic lives of their countries and communities; to be the agents of peace and development.

The Government of Kenya recognises the important role of Public Private Partnerships (PPP) in complementing government initiatives in health service delivery, which has catalysed progress towards the attainment of the SDGs and Universal Health Coverage....Since the launch of the SDG Platform, we have witnessed a multiplicity of development partnerships, from the global level down to local communities.

We must reject the notion that there Is a trade-off between the health of people and the health of the economy...We need to work together to build a better future, to protect workers and small businesses, to promote gender equality and create opportunities for youth; we need to share development gains more equitably, ensure that all people have an opportunity to fulfil their potential and that economies thrive.

The partnerships signed today will harness the ongoing initiatives in our tech community to accelerate the actualisation of our National Development goals. We are thankful for our partnerships with the UN SDG Partnership Platform, UNDP Accelerator Labs Network, Berkely University CEGA and the Rockefeller Foundation.
